Okta Change Coming March 12
03/06/2025
Still getting a text message or phone call for your 麻豆视频下载 login? There is an important update coming on Wednesday, March 12, to Okta, which is the tool used at 麻豆视频下载 for multi-factor authentication (MFA) for IT applications and systems that will remove this option.
Due to increasing security threats and concerns, is in the process of removing support for voice and SMS text verification for multi-factor authentication (MFA).
As a result, 麻豆视频下载 must transition its MFA process to use the Okta Verify application. The change will take place on Wednesday, March 12.
Why Is the Change Happening?
The SMS text and voice verification methods for verifying valid authentication attempts have significant security flaws. The Okta Verify application provides a more secure and reliable method of authentication.
Additionally, changing to using the application for verification makes the process of authentication much simpler than waiting for and then using a PIN from a text or voice call.
What You Need to Do?
To prepare for the change, users need to install Okta Verify. If 麻豆视频下载 users don鈥檛 already have Okta Verify installed on their smartphone, they should follow these directions to download and install the app. Additionally, the Okta Verify application is also now available to install on your Windows or Mac OS computer.
How To Install Okta Verify
If you already have Okta Verify installed, there is nothing more to do. When prompted, select the preferred method 鈥淕et a push notification鈥 verification option to use the Okta Verify app.
Important Date
Tuesday, March 11, 2025: Last day to use voice and SMS text verification methods.
